Residents and Staff Unite for Lake Maintenance at Yarwell Mill Country Park

A resident-led initiative at Yarwell Mill Country Park recently saw a group of dedicated homeowners take the lead in carrying out important chemical maintenance on the park’s lake, with support from Monte Carlo Parks. The collaborative effort aimed to enhance the health and appearance of the lake for the benefit of both nature and the local community.

With residents organising and coordinating the work, the project focused on the careful application of environmentally friendly treatments to help manage algae levels and maintain water clarity. These measures are part of a proactive approach to preserving the lake’s natural balance and ensuring it remains a thriving habitat for wildlife as well as a tranquil spot for everyone in the park to enjoy.
